Basement studio apartment located in a beautiful residential neighbourhood, in immediate proximity of the Bergen light rail (bybanen), which takes you to the city centre in 10 min and Bergen airport in 30 min. Perfect for tourists who prefer to reside in a quiet and safe residential area, as well as for professionals looking for alternatives to impersonal and small hotel rooms. Here you will find a comfortable bed, big TV with Netflix, fast internet, private entrance, and more. The space The studio apartment is approximately 25 m2 in size and consists of a larger room plus a separate private bathroom. The room is divided into zones: the entrance, the sitting area, the kitchenette, the dining area and the sleeping alcove. In the entrance you can hang your wet outwear and store the shoes, keys, purses etc. The sitting area consists of a comfortable couch that can be used as a single bed if the two guests do not want to share the main bed. The entrance and the sitting area are separated by a large closet that can store all your clothes and personal belongings so you can keep the place clutter-free during your stay. The kitchenette has all the basic equipment and utensils for a comfortable stay, including a spacious fridge with a freezer, an electric cooker with a small stove, large sink with cold and hot water, a water boiler, and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, plus pots, pans, plates, glasses, cups, bowls, etc, so you can have a nice breakfast before starting your day or a smaller dinner at the end of your day. The dinning area consists of a table for two people and can be used as your working area as well. Fast internet access is provided. The sleeping alcove consists of a double bed (140 cm) with down duvets, including bed linen, a night lamp, and a phone charging station. The bed has a medium hard mattress. For your entertainment we provide a 43-inch TV with access to Netflix. The TV can be facing either the sitting or the sleeping area. The bathroom consists of a shower, toilet, sink with a vanity mirror and a washing machine. We provide towels, shampoo, balsam, soap, toilet paper, hairdryer, and a first-aid-kit. The ceiling height in the apartment is around 2.1 m, but there is good ventilation system and plenty of light fixtures, so the apartment appears as bright and cosy. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire studio apartment, including the attached bathroom, and a small storage room where we store some of our personal property, but which is unlocked to allow access to the studio ventilator switch. Guest will also be able to use a private terrace/sitting area in front of the studio entrance, the small lawn/garden facing the main street, and half of the parking space belonging to the property. Other things to note Please note that our family lives on the floors above the studio apartment and since the floors are not well isolated for sound, you will hear noise from the floor above. Also, if you sleep with the window open, you might hear the tram passing by. If you are very sensitive to noise and require a very silent environment, then this listing is not appropriate for you.
