The space Nestled in a serene pocket of our 195-acre valley, Aquila Cottage is a peaceful, light-filled retreat surrounded by forest, birdsong and the gentle rhythms of nature. The downstairs lounge invites slow mornings by the window, afternoons reading in soft filtered light, and cosy evenings together after exploring the bush. The kitchen (no oven) makes simple meals easy, while the covered outdoor area with BBQ and hammock is perfect for sitting in the stillness, breathing in the fresh air, and watching the light shift across the trees. Kangaroos often graze on the grassy outlook at dawn and dusk — a peaceful, grounding sight. Guests staying at Aquila have access to King Parrot’s shared facilities, including the saltwater pool, games room, small gym, and a bookable infrared sauna for deep relaxation. Wander the private bush tracks to a creek and waterfall, listen for kookaburras, or simply sit among the gums and let the day settle around you. Our gentle farm animals add to the quiet charm of the land. As with all bush properties, snakes may occasionally be present, though they are rarely seen and tend to avoid people.
