Self contained accommodation in lovely village

A light and airy self contained bedroom, bathroom and living room with independent access, located in a modern ground floor extension to our 1870s cottage. We are two minutes from the centre of the pretty village of Thorverton, surrounded on all sides by garden, fields and beautiful views. The space The house and extension stand in a large garden which you are welcome to use, including our rather bumpy croquet lawn! You also have access to a small private courtyard area just outside the bedroom, lovely for a sunny breakfast or mid morning coffee, and to a screened patio area outside the living room with views out over the Raddon Hills. This patio catches all the afternoon and evening sun and is great for watching the sun set over the hills. There is a small bbq for guests to use, with charcoal available. The living room area has a sofa, tv, dining table and chairs, and simple food preparation area with fridge, microwave oven, plug in mini hob, kettle, toaster and sink. Tea, coffee, breakfast cereals, bread, jams, butter, milk and our own apple juice are left out for you to prepare breakfast when you wish. The bedroom has a double bed, tv, cupboard, drawers, and the bathroom has a bath, bath overhead shower, and wc. Towels and bed linen are provided. Guest access The accommodation can be accessed independently, and you can park in our private drive or in the lane. We are two minutes walk down the hill into the village where there is a shop stocking all necessities and delicious local produce, a pub serving food, church etc.
