The space Delightfully bright, stylish and airy duplex on historic Narrow Street. We are very happy that we made this apartment our choice for our trip to London!" The flat is homely, well-appointed and professionally cleaned. Importantly the new beds with good quality mattresses provide the comfort you deserve after a busy day as a tourist, exhibiting at excel, having meetings in Canary Wharf or visiting family and friends. “The house is spotless and well maintained…. And what's more, the bed is the most comfortable one I have ever tried since I came to the UK!!!" The apartment is spread over 90m2 on two floors. The main bedroom shares the top floor with a bathroom. The second bedroom and shower room are on the ground floor. There is a separate study adjacent to this second bedroom with a big desk and lots shelves - a proper space for 'work from home'. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes with ample storage space. The water pump ensures that guests can enjoy a powerful and invigorating shower. The 4.5 meter high entrance hall and a spiral staircase separates the bedrooms from in the airy lounge and the fully fitted kitchen. Each of the two bedrooms has a king size bed and 1000 pocket sprung medium firm mattress; there is also a sofa day bed (for kids only) as well as a blow up double mattress if required. The high ceiling, large windows, and the amount of natural light set this apartment apart from many of the flats available to rent in the neighbourhood. Please be aware the flat is in an urban enviroment next to a busy road. Whist it causes no issues for the majority of our guests - light sleepers might want to bring their own earplugs. Other things to note We provide you with towels and bed linen and some basic toiletries. For people staying more than 5 nights we advise on an optional mid-stay light clean – to freshen the place up and change the towels. It is a very generous two bedroom flat - and we have an additional double air-mattress for the upstairs bedroom (or lounge ) if needed. So we can comfortably accommodate 3 couples - although 6 singles might get too "familiar" during long stays... The shelf-stairs in the lounge are made of soft plywood, displaying fragile objects. The shelves (and attached structure) have been featured on the BBC, Chanel 4, a US TV program, as well as many magazines all over the world, please enjoy it with care :) The additional room is not for use by the guests - although the design can be appreciated up close from the lounge. As the architect put it you can "have a conversation with the design from the lounge". If your very keen we can give you a sneak peak during your stay... Finally - the property is close to a main road. Although we have secondary glazing - light sleepers may not get used to the noise of traffic. While it hasn't affected our family – it is not for those who are not used to this aspect of urban life. Early/late check-in and late checkout available on request - extra fees are charged.
