Mountain house, spartan and simple, with terrace and a view of the surrounding mountains. Possibility of sleeping 2 people in a double bed. Mezzenile is a small mountain village with many opportunities for hiking, walking or cycling and rafting. It is also a good base for visiting Lanzo, Pian della Mussa and the Alps. The house is on three floors: ground floor with kitchen, oven, fireplace and table; first floor with double bed, pellet stove and bathroom with shower; second floor with two single beds, a double sofa bed, a balcony and a bathroom with shower. The top floor (with 4 beds) cannot be used during the winter because it has no heating. The house also has a terrace with a table, sofa and armchair for reading, at guests' full disposal. The road to reach the house and parking is a bit narrow and steep, but there is also the possibility to park in a large square nearby for those who do not want to drive up to the house. The top floor (with 4 beds) is only accessible by a (narrow) spiral staircase. Other things to note During the winter, only the kitchen and the room on the first floor are available, for a total of 2 beds with a double bed. Possibility of repairing bicycles or other equipment overnight in a closed garage. The entrance doors are quite low, and very tall people have to lean a little to get in. The hosts live in the house next door, have a nice dog and two children. FOR GUESTS DURING THE COLD SEASON The house does not have central heating or radiators. For heating, there is a pellet stove in the bedroom (and we provide pellets). In the kitchen there is a wood-burning fireplace (we also give the wood), it heats, but the floor in the kitchen remains cold, and it is advisable to bring slippers for your feet.
