The Old Post Office, Exford is a self-contained annexe adjoining the owners' property next door, converted from the old village post office and stores, with its own private entrance from the garden. It sleeps up to 2 guests in one bedroom with a king-size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, and a modern shower room (no bath) leads off the hallway. The space The open-plan living-dining room has kitchenette facilities including a sink, combination microwave/oven, air fryer, under-counter fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and cafetiere, along with tea, coffee and sugar. There's a Freeview TV with Netflix and a DVD player, plus wifi, a hair dryer and board games and playing cards for cosy evenings in. Electricity and heating are included, with oil-fired central heating throughout plus top-up plug-in radiators for colder months. Bed linen and towels are provided. The property is all on one level, though there are two external steps down to the front door from the garden path, and one step up through the garden gate from the pavement. Outside, a small patio table and two chairs sit on the gravelled patio area right outside the front door, enclosed by a low garden wall and metal gate, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome for a supplement of GBP 10; please keep dogs off the furniture and never leave them unattended in the property. A dog blanket, towel and bowl can be provided on request. The property is not considered suitable for children, though an infant sleeping in a cot is welcome, and a travel cot and baby bath can be arranged if needed. There is no allocated parking, but roadside parking is usually available directly outside free of charge, and a large public car park is just 100 metres away. Check-in is from 5pm and check-out by 11am.
