Welcome to a charming oasis set in a little village of Sigiriya.Located within Srilankans famous cultural triangle of Kandy,Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa.Explore the glorious past of our country from a hideaway where history,time and tradition meet.Our guest house is designed for all kinds travelers..All rooms have free wifi,private bathrooms with hot shower and towels. The space The Courtyard Villa is a unique guest house with a oriental touch.We have one Deluxe Triple Room and Three Double rooms with Air condition. In total all four rooms accommodate 9 persons. At the Courtyard Villa we wanted to create same old authentic feeling as the traditional srilankan life for the guests to relax and enjoy the life and pace of village life.On some walls in the Courtyard villa you will find replicas of the sigiriya frescoes drew by me. In the verandah we have lots of comfortable seating and a dining area.and it is ok to sit on the couches and lounge while you enjoy our chef's delicious food.The more relaxed you are,the happier we are. The Courtyard Villa is set in the village of Kimbissa which is part of an area known locally as the elephant corridor.(And yes,occasionally we are visited by elephants looking for jack fruit,young rice and bananas.)In the garden of The Courtyard you will see bougainvillea,hibiscus and grassses surrounding the premises.There are variety of beautiful birds,squirrals,Monkeys,Butterflies,iguanas and Varanus bengalensis that visit our garden.Sometimes you will hear wild peacoks roaming. Food is our strong point.The ingredients for the dishes we serve at The Courtyard Villa are purchased from the local markets and when available,locally grown ingredients are used.Our ever changing menu furnishes the guests with a healthful and delicious insight to Srilankan Cuisine.Athula our chef is going to make your stay here a culinary feast that you'll never forget. If you want to order beer or spirits during your stay with us,please let us know when you make your reservation and we will make sure to order it for you .Beer ,Arrack , Sprits and Wine are available in Dambulla at the supermarket 'Food City'.They carry a large selection of imported goods and also have a pharmacy. Guest access Check in time is 2 p.m.If the room is available you can enter a couple of hours earlier at no extra charge.Check out time is 10 a.m. Other things to note Breakfast is included in the price Dinner is LKR 2700 per person including a Dessert and a Water bottle. Please place your meals requirements after breakfast for the day. As this is a jungle area you may hear monkeys on the roof.
