Our beautiful Victorian beach house will offer you a very warm welcome. A stones throw from the beach and a 5-minute walk to all the local shops, restaurants, cafes including the award-winning cinema and award-winning micropub and not to forget the best fish and chip shop for miles around. Everywhere you go Westgate is full of charm including two blue flag awarded beaches. Margate is just one stop away on the train, a healthy Scenic walk or around £6 in a cab. Best of Both Worlds! The space Enjoy complete privacy on the top floor of our coastal home, where you'll have exclusive use of two inviting double bedrooms and a private bathroom. As you head upstairs, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views over West Bay—voted one of the best beaches in Kent by TripAdvisor. The first bedroom features a cosy double bed and all the comforts you’d expect, including tea and coffee making facilities. The second bedroom is arranged as a twin, but can easily be converted into a double bed. This room also includes tea and coffee amenities. Both bedrooms are equipped with bedside lamps featuring built-in USB charging ports for added convenience. The private bathroom includes an overhead shower and a separate handheld attachment, as well as a toilet, wash basin, and mirror—with a plug-in point for an electric toothbrush or shaver. An iron and ironing board are available, and if there’s anything else you need—appliances or utensils—we’ll be happy to help. Being a classic beach house, we have plenty of seaside extras for you to enjoy—buckets, spades, body boards, and even a kayak, paddleboard, and canoe. Please note, any water activities are undertaken entirely at your own risk (and if you do find yourself drifting to France, you’ll need to catch the ferry back—good luck! 😉). You're very welcome to use our dining room and garden during your stay. While we’re not advertising full kitchen use, feel free to prepare light meals 🤗 Other things to note We do have a beautiful Maine Coon cat at the house called Simba who looks like a little lion 🦁.
