Abram's Wriggly Tin House

Abram's Wee House is a charming recreation of an 1890's 'wriggly tin' dwelling. We are trying to recreate that simple existence, but with a modern, luxurious and cosy touch. The space It has an open plan kitchen and living room with a wood burner, snuggle chair, settee, kitchen complete with Belfast sink, fridge, gas cooker and is fitted out with beautiful country floral fabrics, cushions, vintage books and signed prints by a local artist. It has a separate bedroom with double, cast iron bed, a large roll top bath and a separate room with toilet and wash hand basin. It is charmingly furnished with an old Singer sewing machine, Elm Windsor chair and sketches of local birds and wildlife adorn the walls. The floorboards have been salvaged from a whisky distillery in Scotland. Outside there is a fire pit and picnic table. You will be provided with some logs and firelighters for the first night to get you started. Bed linen and pillows are NOT provided for the children. Please bring your own sleeping bags if there are children coming. Optional extra: Wood fired hot tub (contact for price) Price is for 2 adults and 2 children Guest access Guests will have the use of the whole of the 'tiny house' and outside seating area and campfire. Price is for 2 adults and 2 children Other things to note There will be other glamping units on site at Tepee Valley Campsite (a Log cabin, Gypsy Caravan and Shepherd's Hut and during the summer months some Yurts, a Geodome and a Tepee ) and a 5 van Caravan Park. There will be other families possibly staying on site but you will have your own private space. Abram's Wriggly Tin House is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. There is one double bed and 2 mattress beds for the floor.  Please remember to bring sleeping bags/pillows for the children. The price is based on 2 adults and 2 children. If there is an extra adult (e.g. 3 adults ) they will be charged £20 extra. Logs and firelighters will be provided to get you started and extra can be purchased locally or on site.   Arrival time is at 4 pm unless by prior arrangement. Departure Time is 11 am. Sorry but no pets are allowed. Quiet time on site is from 11pm onwards (see T&C) A Refundable security deposit of £50 will be taken, against damages and/or excess cleaning fees. It will be refunded as soon as possible after departure. Please leave the property clean and tidy and report any damages or breakages. HOT TUB -  Available as an optional extra during Winter months and must be pre-booked with us. It costs £40 - This is a wood fired, fresh water, private tub. When you arrive, fill it with water. Sufficient logs will be left available for lighting the wood burner (instructions provided). It should be at temperature within two and a half hours (depending on starting temperature).
