Lifehouse Hermanus

Hermanus is built along the shores of Walker Bay near the southern most tip of Africa. Magnificent mountains watch over the town which is home of the Southern Right whale. Nature lovers from all over the world visit Hermanus to view whales from the best land based whale watching destination in the world. This excellent holiday home owned by Swedish and South African friends is situated close to the ocean and within walking distance to the town centre with panoramic sea and mountain views. The space Up to 8 adults and 4 children are comfortably accommodated in this four-bedroom (all en-suite), self-catering house that also includes a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and laundry, spacious dining and sitting area leading onto a seafront balcony, and private barbecue overlooking the swimming pool. Each of the four en-suite bedrooms has a double bed and single bunk beds for kids. The house is well-equipped with satellite TV (DSTV) and Wi-Fi (Netflix accesible), and towels, linen and cutlery are provided. The property is properly fenced and offers a safe environment for our visiting families. The caretaker of the house, occupying the second house, provides our foreign visitors with practical local information and tips to make their visit pleasant and can be instrumental in arranging transportation, and bookings. The house is centrally located within walking distance to the centre of town and just 200 metres from an ocean tidal pool. The house has partial sea views from the stoop (barbeque area) and 360 view of the sea and mountains from the viewing deck (roof top). Hermanus also offers great beaches, mountain walks, a famous craft market, as well as many fine restaurants. It is also a wine lover’s paradise, with nearby vineyards offering wine tasting.
