Central to the Goldfields Region, this cozy, detached bungalow provides a private retreat & a perfect base for singles or couples exploring the area. Sometimes described as a tiny house, the cottage is set in a tranquil garden, & offers a private bathroom, coffee & tea making facilities, free wifi & off-street parking. Basic continental brekky supplies included. It is only 5-minutes’ drive from historic Castlemaine, and only half an hour from Bendigo, Daylesford, Maryborough & Kyneton. Perfect! The space The bungalow offers a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom and separate toilet. Guest entry is up a couple of steps into the main entrance. There are several steps up to the bedroom from the bathroom. The tiny kitchenette is really designed just for breakfast and coffee/tea making. There is a bar fridge & microwave. Outside you have your own (narrow) driveway and a little courtyard. If you’re looking for a swimming option, the cottage is walking distance from Chewton pool (summer opening times), 5 minutes from the beautiful Expedition Pass Reservoir “The Res”, and 20 minutes drive from “The Cascades”. Guest access Bungalow and garden Other things to note I try to limit my outside activities while guests are present to allow for a peaceful stay. However, I am generally available if there are any issues. I currently have two chickens that free range during the day. Please let me know if you have an issue with chickens and I will keep them in their yard during your stay. I don’t generally cater for dogs.
