Home in Raggiolo
Description
An authentic drying room (a stone room used for drying chestnuts) entirely restored by hand will be the ideal place to experience the small village of Raggiolo, which is part of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy", in a quiet and romantic way. In perfect harmony with the authentic structure, a private garden, with a relaxation area, a hot tub (usable from April to October 1) and a BBQ, will cradle you surrounded by the greenery of the Casentino, an ideal destination for unprecedented outdoor trips! The space The house will be completely dedicated to you, an isolated structure with a private and discreet garden, overlooking the valley of the Teggina river and the ridge of the monastery of La Verna. On the two floors of the house, everything is authentic and consistent with the history of the building; the furniture has been recovered from the ancient cellars of the village and the stone, which flourishes from the walls, is the witness of over 100 years of life. Despite the traditional soul, technology must not be lacking; there is a TV with satellite, high-speed WiFi connection and an outdoor heated hot tub (available from April to October 15) For the coldest moments, a pellet stove/boiler and the well-preserved and functioning original fireplace will warm the environment. Guest access The view of Raggiolo, perched along the natural curve of the mountain, which slowly reveals itself as you approach, will be a unique welcome! The house is located in the historic center, in the most isolated area beyond the village square, limit of access to motor vehicles and a convenient place to unload luggage. Beyond the square, access is only allowed on foot or by non-motorized vehicles, so the ethereal atmosphere of the village immersed in the woods remains authentic. The large public parking lot is located before the village, a hundred meters from the house, reachable by a walk between the restaurant "Il Convivio dei Corsi", the church of San Michele and the typical narrow alleys that lead to the Mill on the Teggina river.
