Description

La Palombara' is a family country-house located in the Sabina region, in the North of Rome. Among olive and oak trees, the house was carefully furnished and decorated. It offers every comfort and it is close to several activities, such as horse back riding, tennis, walking & biking, historical and cultural visiting and it's located an hour away from Rome. The garden with an amazing pool with amazing views provide relax and entertainment to everyone in the family! Pets are not allowed. The space La Palombara is a comfortable and spacious house in the countryside. It is located in the top of a hill, far away from neighbours and in a dominant position that provides breathtaking views of Sabina's hills. There are insect screens in all widows and the garden has outdoor furniture including tables, chairs, deck chairs, sun lounger and a ping-pong table. La Palombara is situated in Casperia, an ancient town located in Lazium, Province of Rieti, in the region of Sabina. Green hills, from the banks of the river Tiber towards the Sabini Hills, which are part of the pre-Apennine Mountains, characterize this countryside. Since it is protected by the high Apennine Mountains, Sabine offers a mild climate in comparing to other interior locations of the peninsula. It became an official town in 1189 under the name of Aspra. The town of Casperia has been fully renovated in the last decades and people that live there really take care of their homes- there are plenty of flowers all over the labyrinth of charming twisted & narrow stone streets where no cars are allowed. Other than its particular medieval architecture, we can visit several churches, such as Chiesa di Santa Maria and Chiesa del Santissimo Salvatore. Olive trees and oak compose the scenario, where the medieval town of Casperia dominates on the top of its hill. Thanks to increasing tourism activity in the region, Casperia has refreshed its buildings that risked to be abandoned, as it happens in many other medieval hilltop towns in other less-touristic Italian regions. In fact, Casperia has increasingly attracted tourists from the U.K., the Netherlands, Germany and Canada. The rest of Europe and the U.S. are starting to discover the Sabina region and its medieval towns, but it is still a calm and unique destination that preserves its local and millenarian identity. Guest access We rent the whole house. Please consider that the 4th bedroom is located on the ground floor and it has an independent entrance, an American kitchen and a private bathroom. It's the largest room available, so we could add a third single bed or a baby crid if needed. Pets are not allowed. Other things to note Pets are not allowed. Registration Details I applied for a CIN, but haven’t received it yet
