My apartment is on two floors: upstairs is the open plan living space topped by cupolas that flood the area with light; downstairs are the four bedrooms. The apartment sits in a quiet residential street, yet there are bars, restaurants, cafes, a cinema, theatre, bus and tram stops a few minutes away. It's just twelve minutes walk to Princes Street or the historic Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Calton hill is a couple of minutes from our door and from the top you can see all Edinburgh. The space I have written two novels in this wonderful space. Set in Edinburgh city centre, Call Billy was released in 2018. You can even call Billy (number on the cover) he will answer your call; he's drunk, in a panic, in a pub and he's hoping you're his old friend, Stevie, to warn him... Call Billy is available to buy in the famous bookshop Blackwells, just off the Royal Mile. I've left a copy in the flat too. There is a washing machine (and washing tabs), dishwasher (and dishwasher tabs), microwave, espresso coffee machine, TV, gas central heating and wifi internet. We provide shampoo, conditioner, towels, shower gel, hand cream in the bathrooms and bedrooms (each room has a hairdryer).
