We are traveling to Australia for three months and are looking for someone to stay in our house during our absence. 🛏️ About the house Our house is a cozy and fully furnished townhouse in a quiet, green neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Two comfortable bedrooms A spacious attic that is furnished as an extra living room/office A south-facing terrace, perfect to soak up the sun Well-equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom and washing machine 🚲 Location Ghent city center is a 30-minute walk (2.5 km) Only 10 minutes by bike or public transport (stop nearby) Supermarket, bakery and other amenities within walking distance 📅 Available for 3 months mid-November to mid-February - exact dates in consultation. Guest access Our house is located in a quiet residential area, very close to every major highway (E17, E40 and R4) and public transport (Tram 2 to the centre, bus 9 to the train station). The city centre is only 10 minutes away by tram and the Gentbrugse Meersen are at walking distance from the house (it is really a great nature reserve for walking, running and even cycling - you have trails for your mountainbike). The (small) trainstation of Gentbrugge is also really close. So you can easily take a train to Bruges (30 min), Antwerp (40 min), Brussels (30 min), or wherever you like to go. PARKING: Parking in our street is possible but only free of charge on sunday and after 7pm during weekdays. PUBLIC TRANSPORT 1) Tram 2 at 500 m from the house (stop: Gentbrugge Stelplaats) -> direct connection with the city centre, every 7 minutes, and it will take you to the centre in 10 minutes. 2) Bus 9 at 500 m from the house (Stop: Gentbrugge Stelplaats) -> direct connection with train station Sint-Pieters Other things to note Hello, we're Alice (29) and Karel (29) and Donna (6 months) and we are travelling to Australia and New Zealand end 2025! During that period, we want to rent out our house. Previously we have rented out a spare room in our house, now we will rent out the whole property! This is our private home & our safespace, therefor we are extra carefull on who we accept as guests.
