Courage Cottage is a two bedroom detached barn conversion in a Georgian farmyard.The barn was converted in 2013 so has all modern conveniences including underfloor heating. It is very individual and situated in a quiet , rural setting. It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The village of Martinstown has an excellent pub and shop. Dorchester is 2 miles away and has every facility including good rail connections in all directions.Swimming pool (shared ) open May 15th-Sept 15th The space This quiet valley in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is located between Dorchester and Weymouth and therefore within easy reach of shops, restaurants museums and the numerous seaside activities available in and around Weymouth. The Abbotsbury Swannery and gardens are within easy reach as are many footpaths leading to the coast as well as the many remote beaches reached situated along the famous Jurassic Coastline which is a World Heritage Site. The properties are in the old farmyard and reached down a private road and therefore well away from traffic. Golf: Several Golf courses within a few miles in stunning scenery Guest access The heated swimming pool is available from May 15th to September 15th. We can’t guarantee it will be available outside of these times and the temperature is always subject to weather conditions. Guests are free to enjoy the old walled garden which is a quiet, secluded haven. Other things to note The second bedroom has a steep spiral staircase which is perfectly accessible but not for anyone who is a little unsteady on their feet. The swimming pool is only shared with owners who use it rarely. It is outdoor and open from May 15th to September 15th only. It is heated but the temperature varies and is subject to weather conditions.
