Gardener’s Cottage is a charming 4* stone-built, single-storey property adjoining the owner’s home, just outside Llanfynydd in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Ideally situated for exploring West Wales and enjoying both coast and countryside, it’s perfect for a last-minute getaway. Plenty to see and do nearby, ideal for friends and couples. Just 7 miles from Llandeilo, close to Aberglasney Gardens, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, and Dinefwr Park and Castle. The space Gardener’s Cottage offers a light and spacious living room, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. The super king bed is made up as standard but can be arranged as twin beds on request (please let me know before your arrival). The galley kitchen and shower room are compact but well-equipped for comfortable short breaks for two. Uninterrupted views from the balcony and living room stretch across rolling hills to the Black Mountains beyond—truly breathtaking. I look forward to welcoming you. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of decked balconies at both the front and rear of the property, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views throughout the day. Perfect spot for a glass of wine or a cappuccino. Other things to note The owner’s home is attached to the cottage, and the gardens are beautifully maintained. A variety of wildlife and birds visit the garden feeders, including finches, woodpeckers, nuthatches, and squirrels, and often come to the bird table in front of the balcony. Please note this if you are not comfortable with wildlife. The owners’ friendly cat may also spend time around the decking, as she enjoys sunbathing outdoors—this is her home as well, so she will be around during your stay. Please be aware there are steps of varying heights to access the property, and Gardener’s Cottage has 18 steps in total, so is NOT suitable for guests with mobility issues. For this reason, this cottage is adults-only. There is no public transport to the property, so having a car is recommended. Guests are kindly advised to bring essential items for their first night, such as milk, bread, butter, and other basic provisions. No arrivals after 8pm in the evening please.
