Luxury B&B suite for 2 in a cosy countryside pub

The Acorn Suite is luxurious & sophisticated, dog & child friendly space sleeping up to 3 with private bathroom & living room in a cosy, traditional village pub on the England/Wales border. Nestled in peaceful & pretty Gladestry situated on the Offas Dyke Path, we are a haven for walkers & a great base for exploring the nearby towns & villages on both sides of the border & are only a short drive from Kington and Hay on Wye. The space The suite is situated on the groundfloor of the pub and is accessed through a lockable private entrance. You have a quaint living space with comfortable chairs, books and games and a lovely view of Yew Tree Bank. The suite boasts a brand new bathroom with shower. The bedroom is a sophisticated space with Queen size bed (this can be split to become 2 single beds) and 1 further pull out single bed where required. The suite has direct access into the garden therefore is suitable for furry, four legged guests too! Guest access We offer free on site parking for our guests in the pub car park. The area is a walkers paradise so we highly recommend getting your boots on and going exploring, we are a very short wander from the Welsh side of Hergest Ridge which is a spectacular trail where you cross the border into England and head over to Kington (our closest neighbouring town). There is no bus route through Gladestry so if you are not walking you will need to be prepared to drive short distances to the surrounding towns and villages, but we guarantee they are all worth the drive! We can offer a lift service to and from Kington or Hay on Wye if required with notice and can also provide baggage drop offs nearby for walkers. Other things to note Children under 10 years must not be left unattended under any circumstances at the property. Breakfast is not included but can be booked on arrival. We require a £15 cleaning fee for any dogs (up to a maximum of two). Dogs must be kept on leads at all times when outside of the suite, whether that be in the pub itself or in the garden. Dogs are strictly not permitted on any of the furniture or beds. Please clear up after your dog immediately. We do not provide TVs in the suites but have very good wifi should you wish to bring along a device.
