Welcome to the Love Shack Whitianga. Our one-of-a-kind quirky beach bach (+cabin) is made with love for a memorable getaway with your loved ones. Perfect for summer family fun, with a deck, BBQ and games. A quick flat stroll to the main centre for cafes and shopping and 5 minutes to the beach, playground and waterfront bars. Right across the road from Whitianga Harbour, perfect for exploring and walks away from the crowds. Our extended family have loved this batch and know you will too. The space The Love Shack has two bedrooms, with a larger master room and a second room with a double bed and bunks. The completely separate mini love shack/cabin is perfect for bringing the extended family or second couple who want their own space. We do not hire this separately, you will always have the entire property to yourself. Mini love shack has its own entrance, is powered, has a double bed, TV, small deck/table and chairs for two and a separate entrance. The main Love Shack is perfect for entertaining with a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine. No dishwasher. Open plan dining/lounge. The main lounge has the TV and opens out to a deck with table and chairs and shade for summer. A new second family room opens up from the dinning area and seats 5 people, perfect for playing games. There is also a separate BBQ area with a hula hut bar and BBQ for summer entertaining. The garden area is large enough for a games, and we also have some summer fun equipment including tennis rackets for the nearby tennis court. Yes there is wifi (shh don’t tell the kids) and a large smart TV, freeview, chromecast, DVD player and family friendly movies. Or unplug and enjoy our range of board games and books on local history. Mobile reception is good. Guest access Both the Love Shack and mini love shack have their own separate entrances. This is an entire home. We do not hire the mini love shack separately, you will always have the entire property to yourself. It is on a shared driveway, with room to park two normal sized cars. Street side parking is available most of the year. Other things to note We sleep up to 8 people, ideally 6 adults and 2 children. The main house comfortably sleeps 4, with another 2 in bunks in the same room as a double bed - so ideal for a close family! The mini love shack cabin sleeps another 2 in a double bed, who need to share the main bathroom inside the house. We have plenty of outside lighting. We include initial linen, bedding and towels for your arrival. We have a washing machine if you need fresh laundry during your stay. Please bring your own beach towels.
