Samawati Conservancy Cottages built in the year 2005, has 3 Standard units standing on 20acres of well-manicured ground dotted with artisticaly trimmed acacia trees among other indigenous and exotic beautiful plants. Each holiday cottage sleeps 4-5 people and offers excellent Lake self catering accommodation. Well equipped accomodation with a kitchenette, Hot shower, Firewood place. The cottages provide perfect inspiration for anyone trying to bring home the woodsy cabin style, with its large living area centered around the stone fireplace, a modern kitchen with closed wooden cabinets and snug bedrooms that keep things simple and elegant. Offering sweeping views of Lake Ol Bolossat, The aberdare Mountains and the Ol donyo Satima Escarpments. At Samawati Conservancy Cottages it's all about reconnecting with nature at its unadulterated best. Lake Ol'bolossat is one of the IBA (IMPORTANT BIRD AREAS) in Kenya rated as the 61st, bird lovers would adversely enjoy their stay here. Birds such as the Sharpes Claw, Jackson Widow and many others have been sited withing the compound. Samawati Conservancy Cottages are located within a few hours drive to various tourist destinations such as the Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Lake Elementaita, The Aberadare National Park, The Hells Gate in Naivasha, The Thompson falls. Tailor made safaris can be prepared for guests upon request at an extra charge. Samawati Cottages are 7kms away from the main Nyahururu-Olkaluo C77 highway. Accessed via a marram road, guests are advised to use 4wheel vehicles during rainy seasons. There are Motorbikes transport available if a guest would like to tour the area at an extra fee.
