The space Our cozy appartement is the perfect place from where you can easily explore every characteristic part of Amsterdam by foot or public transport. After a day of exploring the city, you can unwind by lying in the hammock by the waterfront and watching the boats pass by. And when it gets too hot, you can simply jump in the water straight from the waterfront balcony. We also offer a nice vinyl collection, a ‘home cinema system’ with a 100'' (250 cm), 16:9 -projection screen (we don’t have cable tv, but you can easily stream Netflix, Youtube, etc. to the beamer via the Googl chromecast), many board games and a fully equipped kitchen with a large oven and 5 burner gas stove. So even if the sun isn’t shining, you won’t easily be bored :) Other things to note The houseboat has a fixed location and cannot move. Our house has some tiny home characteristics to make good use of the available space. For example, the bed is elevated so in order to get into the bed you need to take a few steps (please take this into account if you're not entirely mobile). In addition, our home is used on a daily basis so some minor parts show traces of daily use (the floor shows some dents for example). In summer the houseboat can get quite warm during the day. One solution is of course to go out and explore the beautiful city of Amsterdam :) But it can also easily be helped by opening both the front door and backdoor at the same time which will make the heat quickly dissipate and cool down the apartment.
