Glenview Alpaca Farm - Relax and Enjoy our Farm

Glenview Alpaca Farm provides a unique VIP experience where you will be the only guests in our cottage. Experiencing up close interaction with our animals. Located in rural area of Bango, NSW. Yass is just 10 km and Murrumbateman Wineries 33 km. Glenview is a working farm where we breed Alpacas, Dorper Sheep, Aussie Miniature Goats, Free Range Hens, Turkeys and a Peacocks. Guests are welcome to help with feeding the animals in the afternoon Please note we are not a pet friendly accommodation The space Glenview was purchased in 2019. Sleeping arrangements include one Queen Size Bed, a Double Sofa Bed and a rollaway Single Bed. The Farm has installed a Solar Opening Security Gate providing additional security for our travellers with free private parking available on site to accommodate a boat, caravan or trailer. Glenview is a working farm and aiming to be Eco Friendly. Guests are very welcome to help Joy and Kerry with the daily chores of collecting the Free Range Eggs, feeding the animals and the Miniature Goats require brushing daily in the afternoon. Throughout the year general animal husbandry will be on going such as shearing, tagging the sheep, fencing and general chores. Please make contact and we will be able to provide you with any upcoming activities. Arrival time for guests is after 1500 and departure from the property before 1000. Please no shoes to be worn inside. If you would like to book an up close and personal tour with the alpacas please message when you receive your welcome email. Guest access The farm has a Solar Opening Security Farm Gate, upon arrival you will be given a Remote to Operate the Solar Gate. We are happy for our Guests to walk around the farm keeping in mind Biosecurity (where have you been prior to your arrival) Vehicles, people and equipment can carry weed seeds, pests and diseases. A general talk will be provided before access to the farm is made available. Guests are not permitted to hit, kick, grab, chase or throw anything towards our animals. Guests are not permitted to pick up, cross fences or enter animal pens/enclosures without permission and under their supervision. Guests must acknowledge these are animals and to use diligence and care when approaching, patting and feeding. Please note we are not a pet friendly accommodation. Other things to note We would appreciate if you could not wear your dirty shoes inside the Cottage and No Smoking inside, we have provided an ashtray outside. Please be honest and report all breakages we can discuss and reimbursement maybe required. Glenview does not charge a cleaning fee, we therefore expect the cottage to be left in a clean and tidy state on departure. Cleaning products are available if required.
