The more, the merrier! :) To make room for more guests, I have made it possible to do a seperate booking of the sofabed. The sofabed is placed in the alcove of the shared dinning room, between my room and the kitchen, and next to the entrance. I have put up curtains to make it more private. The bed is 160x200 cm and has hard foam madrasses. Check out the description of the other booking possibility: Heart of Copenhagen, or the description box below, for further information about my home. :) The space I live in an apartment of 76.6 square meters in a very old house from 1888. It is one of the oldest houses in the area. Both have a lot of history. The front house and the back house, in which I live, are a cooperative with 19 apartments and 2 shops. So many other people live here, who live normal lives with full-time jobs, children and so on. The house is built of brick and wood and has the traditional Scandinavian wooden floors. Wood is much more fragile and requires more maintenance than stone, and sounds also move up and down the house more easily than in houses made of concrete. I live on the 5th floor with stairs, with no elevator. I have lived here for almost 30 years, and almost 16 of them, with my cat, Bellis. I unfortunately had to say goodbye to her on October 29th, 2024. I chose 5 years ago to welcome in and share my home with up to four strangers at the lowest possible price. Therefore, you might meet other nice people here, and become part of a small scale of the cosmopolitan atmosphere of my home and the city of Copenhagen! My room is next to the entrance that leads you into the dining room with doors to the balcony. Here it is possible to enjoy the sunset in the summer. If you are a smoker, you are welcome to smoke on the balcony. Right at the dining table you enter the kitchen. Between here and my room is an alcove with a sofa bed. This can be booked separately or together with the private room which you will find to the left of the dining room. In between you will find the living room, which also gives access to the bathroom. We all share common rooms. If you are 2 guests who want separate beds, you must book the private room (Heart of Copenhagen) AND the sofa bed (Couching Copenhagen). This also applies if there are more of you (3-4 people) traveling together.
