Once a pigeon shed, Jack Cabin is a ramshackle hideaway featuring TWO single beds, a writer's desk, and cheeky views of the Bobbejaans River junction and Witte River up towards Happy Valley. Jack Cabin is ideally suited for teenagers, two friends sharing, hikers who appreciate a warm bed, and rustic-loving romantics at heart. There is a nearby outdoor shower that guests of Jack can make use of, otherwise, the communal showers and toilets are within a stone's throw. The space Situated on the right-hand side flank of the property, Jack Cabin offers respite from the action if you are looking for a slightly more secluded stay... somewhere to lie in bed and read a good book, or sit at the desk and do some writing of your own. Guest access We have permanent staff (Calven and Magret) at McBains who are a managerial couple. They will assist you with any offloading, and are available for advice on where to walk and what to do in the area. They work tirelessly to keep McBains a clean space. It is likely that they will be working during your stay as McBains is an estate that is in constant development!
