Hill End Cottage is an 1840s traditional Yorkshire stone cottage tucked away on a hill side in the beautiful Swaledale area of the Yorkshire Dales. A cyclist's & walker's paradise. Also home to Our Yorkshire Farm TV Series, The Yorkshire Shepherdess, Amanda Owen. Our 4 bedroomed 2 bathroom cottage sleeps up to 8 people and is home from home with a luxury feel. The log burner creates a cosy feel in the living room while the well equipped kitchen offers everything you need for your stay. The space A gorgeous 4 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage that has been newly refurbished. A spacious open plan area in the kitchen and dining room that seats 8 people comfortably and a cosy living area with a log burner for those chilly evenings. Upstairs are 4 luxury bedrooms with the master bedroom having an en-suite and king size bed. A double room and two twin rooms with a family bathroom. the cottage also has a downstairs cloakroom with washer/dryer machine,. We have superfast fibre broadband and a smart TV so you can be entertained and connected to anything just like you are at home. A 5 minute walk away is the The Punch Bowl Inn who serve delicious traditional pub food with an amazing position on the hill looking down to the Swale River. The picturesque village of Reeth is a 5-10 minute drive away and has lots of quaint shops, a museum, pubs and tearooms dotted around the triangular village green. Some of the best walks have their starting point here. The historic town of Richmond famous for its castle, shops, a theatre and tearooms is 30 minutes away by car. The Forbidden Corner in Middleham is 13 miles away and is hugely popular with families, it's a quirky venue with caves, folly and underground caverns. Aysgarth Falls and Castle Bolton are on route with many other picture postcard villages as you drive through.
