The refurbishment has maintained the original structure of the palace: travertine, Tuscan terracotta for flooring, antique wooden beams embellish our recently renovated B&B The grange was a fortified farm that grew up in the place where, in medieval times, a hospice offered lodging to travellers following the Via Francigena towards Rome. It was a centre for the storage of grain and all of the agricultural production necessary for the hospital's activity and a fortified complex The courtyard that precedes the palace and leads to the main entrance is surrounded by magnificent Medieval walls and embellished by an antique well. The B&B consists of eight rooms, a large central hall where breakfast is served and where guests can appreciate our typical recipes, a relax area with sofas, piano, books, board games, TV. The refurbishment has maintained the original travertine, terracotta for the flooring and ancient wooden beams to highlight the architectural value of the palace. Rooms are bright, inviting, they have been completely renovated, furnished with taste, simplicity and great attention to details of decorations. We have chosen for the inner spaces the colours of nature: Arancio, Ciliegio, Girasole, Glicine, Lavanda, Menta, Salvia, Papavero. Each room has the name of a flower, a fruit tree, an aromatic plant, all remind to the incomparable beauty of Tuscan landscapes. All bedrooms open up to a very large hallway that assures quietness to our guests, have their private entrance and private bathroom with shower.
