Why not hop on the train to the summit of Snowdon, the station being just a five minute walk away, and enjoy a slow amble back into town whilst building up a thirst to enjoy a drink in one of the many pubs located in the town? Close by, the Llanberis Lake Railway, National Slate Museum and Electric Mountain are all well worth a visit and Caernarfon, with its 13th century medieval and the majestic castle is only 7 miles away. A little further afield at Blaenau Ffestiniog, you can enjoy Zip world Titan, the longest 4-man zip wire in Europe, Bounce Below and Zip Caverns, an underground trampoline and zip wire ride, along with the magnificent slate caverns at Llechwedd.This delightful cottage is a great base for exploring both coast and country at any time of the year.
