5 Gower coastal cottage Rhossili, Gower R5

The farmhouse which, was built in the 19th century stands in a walled garden , near the village of Rhossilli. The location is peaceful and idyllically rural. The farmhouse is a ten minute walk through unspoilt countryside to Mewslade Bay, one of the most picturesque and secluded beaches in Gower. The space Lower Pitton Farmhouse offers outstanding self-catering accommodation. This spacious property has everything for a relaxing holiday in Gower. This booking is for a bedroom with two single beds. The room also has wardrobe. All bed linen and bath towels are provided. Guests should provide their own beach towels if needed. There is no kettle or tv in the room but these can be located in the shared part of the house as described further below. The farmhouse has 4 other bedrooms that are also on offer to rent and can be found as different listings on airbnb. I do not over fill the house and like a sensible number booked in to allow max comfort. I usually allow 3 rooms to be booked at any one time to allow each room to have there own private bathroom. THE SHARED PART OF THE HOUSE: The interior comprises of a large hallway, large utility room, kitchen with a table that can seat 16 people, two lounges one with open fire and the other with wood burner. That I can light if required. There is a lighting charge. There are three bathrooms each consisting of a toilet, a hand basins, two bathrooms have showers only one bathroom has a shower and a bath. There is a fully furnished kitchen that you can use but you must clean up after yourself and put everything away after use. There will be complimentary coffee, tea, milk and sugar. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the pans, crockery and cutlery you would expect. The electrical appliances include a cooker, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher and 2 fridge freezers. There is also a washing machine if required but again there is a charge to use this. The kitchen and conservatory have Wi-Fi. There is central heating throughout the house and a space to store bikes, canoes, surfboards etc. The farmhouse is set in a beautiful large country garden with sun decking, BBQ area with an outdoor table and chairs. The upper garden is flat perfect for garden games such as boules, badminton and football or for just chilling and relaxing. As well as anything you require or need while you stay at the farmhouse. Other things to note Mewslsde bay is 10 minutes walk from the farmhouse and is perfect for walking, swimming, surfing, sunbathing and for children to play in the sand and rock pools. Mewslade is surrounded by high limestone cliffs which have some stunning caves that are fun to explore. The walk from the front door of the house to the beach and coastal path meanders down a narrow valley to the sea, through wooded and open countryside, rich in flora and fauna. Rhossili is only 10 mins walk and has a pub and bistro restaurant, shops and galleries. Rhossili also has great walks views and amazing sunsets.
