Cozy Beach Retreat

The retreat is a spacious, open-plan living area separate from the main house. You'll have your own private entrance, (through the garage), offering the comfort and peace of knowing you won’t disturb anyone during your stay. The space includes a private bathroom, queen-size bed, lounge (which folds out into a sofa bed), wardrobe, mini bar fridge, TV/DVD with Netflix, and a desk. For bookings of two guests, please let us know in advance if you would like the sofa bed made up. The space The retreat is a seperate space from our home, it’s a clean modern living space that’s beautifully presented and thoughtfully furnished for your comfort. Inside, you’ll find a queen-sized bed fitted with an electric blanket, a lounge that converts into a pullout sofa bed, a wardrobe, desk, mini bar fridge, and a TV with Netflix and a DVD player. The private bathroom is modern and fitted with its own hot water system, so you’ll never have to worry about running out of hot water. All bathroom linen is provided, including towels, bath mats, and extra blankets, which are neatly stored in the wardrobe. A hairdryer and complimentary toiletries are available in the mirrored cabinet. A split system aircon is mounted on the wall providing warmth through winter and coolness through the summer heat. A drying rack is located just outside the retreat—perfect for airing out your towels and bath mat. Directly opposite the retreat, you’ll find a spacious outdoor entertaining area, complete with a comfortable couch, flat-screen TV, and a table with chairs. It’s the ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring. Guests are welcome to use the large, open-plan kitchen to prepare meals and wash-up. Guest access Guests have private access to the retreat via the garage. Two sensor lights are installed to help guide you through to your space, located at the back on the left-hand side. You’ll find your set of keys and garage remote in the self-check-in Keysafe. Your key set will unlock the retreat entry door, the glass sliding door, and the screen door to the main house. Guests are also welcome to use the open-plan kitchen located in the main house for meal preparation and dishwashing. Feel free to enjoy the shared outdoor entertaining area as well. Other things to note Guests can park on the street right out the front of the house. Please leave a space for a second vehicle. I have hosted guests who work for the Submarine Corp, Fisheries Dept and SAPOL. The Police Academy is a 3min walk away. For long term rentals I’m happy to negotiate a price. Laundry mat is a 4min drive from my property.
