Tansy Cottage - a cosy Mountains getaway

A warm and welcoming Mountains cottage. A place to kick off you shoes and unwind - a beaut city escape. Nestled amongst other well established homes - a 3 minute drive (or 30 minute walk) to the centre of Blackheath. Close to spectacular lookouts, Rhodo garden & bush trails. Ducted underfloor heating & wood stove Smart TV with Netflix and free WiFi. Three cosy bedrooms & two bathrooms. The space Relax as you open the door to Tansy Cottage - it’s time to enjoy your escape to the Mountains. A family friendly home with 2 comfortable living rooms and 3 cosy bedrooms. Tansy’s uncluttered decor is ideal for hosting the little ones. Enjoy a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates on arrival. Get the fire started with the complimentary firewood and snuggle up in front of the slow combustion fireplace. Enjoy a cuppa and maybe that good book you’ve been wanting to read forever. For more immediate warmth, turn on the ducted under floor gas heating, all centrally controlled. The cottage will be toasty warm in no time at all! Occasionally on a summer’s day, fans are provided to cool the space or open the screened windows to let in a mountain breeze. Enjoy all the cottage’s mod cons including free WiFi, a 49 inch Smart TV, Netflix, DVD player (with a selection of DVDs) and Compact stereo system. The kitchen is fully equipped and is fitted out with a gas cook top, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, Delonghi Nespresso coffee machine, milk frother, electric kettle and toaster. A selection of Twinings tea bags, Moccona coffee sachets, sugar and Equal sachets are provided, with a supply of long life milk and coffee capsules for your first cups. With Queen beds in Bedroom 1 and 2 and 2 single beds in Bedroom 3, Tansy can host a romantic weekend, a getaway with friends or a fun family holiday to the Mountains. All beds are fitted with electric blankets, hotel quality linen and dual layer duvets, perfect for the colder months. There’s a spacious family bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and vanity and an ensuite shower room off the main. Both have a 3 in 1 heater, exhaust fan and light. There’s a washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. Tansy has two outdoor undercover areas to enjoy the warmer weather. A front verandah with 2 wicker chairs and a rear deck with outdoor table & 6 chairs. There’s a Ziegler and Brown gas BBQ to cook up something yummy for dinner. If you fancy a picnic in the park, there’s a handy Tupperware picnic set. In the backyard, the birds will appreciate a meal of wild bird seed (supplied). Top up their feeder and watch the feisty Crimson Rosellas compete with the larger King Parrots for the ”best seat at the table”. There is off-street undercover parking for one car, another car space behind and free parking in the street. Apart from the hall storage cupboard, you are welcome to use all of Tansy’s space and facilities. The place is yours to enjoy! Guest access All of Tansy’s space and facilities are available to our guests except for the hall storage cupboard. Other things to note Tansy Cottage is a home. It is located in a peaceful residential street. All guests must observe the following: No parties or events allowed No loud music or excessive noise allowed at any time of the day No visitors allowed without prior permission The cottage has close neighbours. Any report of disturbance experienced by our neighbours will be treated seriously and we reserve the right to terminate your stay without refund No pets allowed No smoking allowed No portacot (high chair is provided) The cottage accommodates a maximum of 6 people.
