Take note that this is a HALAL accommodation (no pork /no lard products and no alcohol allowed in the household please). Please read the listing description in full before you book :) I live in the apartment with my husband Tariq (or Jason as he is more commonly known by) and we have a spare guest room with a comfy bunk bed or more accurately a pop-up/trundle bed which consist of 2 single beds that can be turned into 1 double bed, available for your use. Most importantly you have your own bathroom! Yes we have a common bathroom thats available solely for your use and feel free to use whatever toiletries that are supplied in there as these are prepared specially for you :) Wifi: We have fast speed fibre optics internet connection. (Please however use the internet responsibly. As in please do not download unsavoury or pirated stuff) You have your own 32 inch Samsung Smart TV installed with NETFLIX in the room. Do take good care of it and learn how to use the remote :P You also have your own mini fridge in the room where you can store your own groceries like milk and/or snacks if you have them. (We do not provide breakfast or milk. Its a very easy walk to the supermarket/shops/cafes here) Please note that we have a private,dedicated bathroom for guests but it is not attached to the guest bedroom and it is next to the guest bedroom. As much as possible we recycle all our plastics, cans, glass bottles and cardboard & paper rubbish. And if you are buying groceries for your long term stay here, we have reusable grocery bag placed behind your bedroom door for your use. :-) Registered guest(s) only. Non-registered guests are not allowed in the house please. Guest access They can access the dining area, the kitchen and the balcony - which is next to the dining area. They cannot access the lounge or living area as that is also where our "home office" area is. Please note our lift stops on the 6th floor and you need to WALK UP a flight of stairs to the 7th floor. If you have many luggages and you wish our help to bring them up, please inform us prior During your stay My husband and I both work from home. We are happy to interact but may not be available when we are at desks in our home office. However if we are not at our desk, feel free to ask us anything! Other things to note For security reasons, we do not take in bookings from non-Account holders as they are not verified by the system, unless through very special circumstances or is a close relation of the account holder (PLEASE INFORM US WHEN YOU BOOK- and forward a photo of the guest(s), (we will refuse entry if not done prior) and non - Photo profiles will not be accepted (please put up a photo on your Airbnb profile or send us a photo) when you book :-) The photo must match what we see on our video intercom security camera at the main lobby entrance for access into the property. We have a fully equipped kitchen so cooking is allowed including the use of microwave, oven and stove. Most importantly please do take note of the halal requirements when using the kitchen and clean up the kitchen or dining area after use and leave it as how you found it. There is a kettle, cups, coffee plunger, tea pot diffuser, a small pot, plates, bowls, cooking utensils and some cutleries that are set aside for you. Help yourself to the free coffee or tea that's there. Please wash and dry the cups, plates, etc after use or feel free to put them in the dishwasher. However as mentioned, no pork, lard, bacon, sausages or ham as well as alcohol will be allowed in the premises at all times Also no shoes indoor please. Feel free to use the washing machine and dryer which is in the common bathroom (so long as you have a full load each time) - please provide for your own detergent/softener. Please do note that though we have a window in the room, it is SEALED (it cannot be opened) for safety/security reason as we are on the rooftop floor of the apt building. We do have a ventilation system in the room and provide a fan in the room. We also have long term guests who have stayed with us for 1 to 3 months continuously and there was no issue. Then again everyone is different so please know what you can or cannot accept before you book :) Please also note that we have a small skylight on a corner of the ceiling in the room and this is sealed with a glass pane where if you look up to the ceilings, you can see some parts of the sky and this cannot be covered. It helps make the room feel airy and bright and on some nights you can actually see the twinkling stars! On Summer months especially, the sun is bright and early so if you are a late riser - please bring along your Sleep Eye Mask :P Positive energy, respectful and open minded guests only please. This is not a hotel, this is a home - so it is not perfect. If we put on the listing that there is no free parking, please do not complain that the parking is expensive. We do not provide breakfast, but please feel free to bring your own foods and feel free to use our fully-equipped kitchen so long as you comply with our house rules. And if we put on our listing that the bedroom window is sealed, please do not complain that there is no window and give us an overall low rating (yes anything below 5 or a 3 (God forbid!) overall rating is low. We do our best for all of our guests but there are things that are beyond our control. So please know what you can or cannot take before you book - much appreciated! We are open to long term guests stay of 3 months (or more) and have hosted plenty before with great success, so long as house rules are followed ;) and many has become friends which we still kept in touch til this day.
