Swiss chalet style apartment sleeps 6, near Gryon

Located close to the ski slopes, mountain hiking and restaurants, our 2-level rustic style apartment is ideal for families/couples. The village of L'Alpe des Chaux is a few mins drive from Barboleuse, Gryon & Villars. A ski lift is one min drive/10 min walk & links to Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets. Children Under 6 ski free. Frience has a free nursery slope & lift for beginners & toboggan runs. Bus stop 50m away. In the summer there is a lake for swimming, picnic & bbq’s & a playground. The space The open plan living area with high ceilings and large windows makes the apartment feel spacious and light, and in the evenings, with the curtains drawn and the open fire lit, (free basket of logs supplied) it becomes very cosy. On two levels totaling 69m2, and with three bedrooms - 1 double on the ground floor and on the first floor, 1 small double and 1 twin room - it sleeps six without the need for sofa beds! The bathroom has both a deep bath and a shower to help relax those muscles after a packed day of activities. (Note the carpeted stairs to access the two upstairs bedroom are quite steep.) The duplex apartment includes a modern kitchen equipped with oven, hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, slow cooker, fondue and raclette machines, Nespresso machine (bring your own capsules please!) and lots of utensils. The living area has a large leather corner sofa and is equipped with Cable TV with many channels including UK, French & Swiss (French/Geman/Italian) plus a DVD player. There is also a variety of DVDs, board games and cards for your entertainment. A small balcony offers outdoor space to sit, relax and admire the views and sunsets. Electricity, heating, Wifi, basket of logs and parking are included in price. Guest access Self check-in via lockbox. Luggage drop-off at the front of the property 40m away, allocated parking + visitors parking at the rear. Other things to note Bed linen and Towels can be supplied at a cost of CHF 25 per person per stay We welcome one pet and charge CHF 30 per week. Please advise details of your pet at the time of booking. We ask that the pet not be allowed into the bedrooms or onto any of the furniture.
