Pointe Vénus – Room for rent at the foot of the lighthouse

A spacious room with its own private bathroom, close to the Pointe Vénus lighthouse and its famous beach. Perfect for sunbathing or swimming lovers. For the more athletic among you, surfing and kitesurfing spots are just a short drive away. All necessary amenities are close by (supermarkets, post office, banks, doctors, pharmacy, etc.). The space A bright and fresh room with a large comfortable bed, a private bathroom with shower. Sheets and towels are provided. The room is air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi. The accommodation is shared with me, the owner, whose room is separated from it by a large living room / American-style kitchen so everyone has their own private living space. The living room, kitchen and garage are common spaces. The garden is used to safely park cars inside the enclosure walls. I live at the end of Pointe Venus, almost at the foot of the Pointe Venus lighthouse. The beach is therefore immediately within walking distance. For the more athletic kite and surf spots are also close (provide a mode of transportation anyway). Feel free to ask me any questions that come to mind. I'll help you as much as I can. Guest access The best way to get to my place is by renting a car. It's possible to take the bus but the bus network in Tahiti is unfortunately not very reliable... In the neighborhood, everything is within walking distance: the beach is right next door, there are 2 supermarkets at the end of the road, between the two, there is the Town Hall, the post office, a bank, a hairdresser etc. (allow 20 minutes walk to reach the supermarkets). Other things to note At my place, pets are an integral part of the house, so if you come to stay here, it's best not to be allergic or afraid of dogs! I have three dogs and a cat, all rescued from the street, and each with their own character. Maya comes from the SPA. We don't know her past, but she is very fearful of humans she doesn't know, especially men. It's best to ignore her at first, let her come to you on her own, and avoid sudden gestures. She loves cuddles and will always end up coming for affection, but she just needs time and gentleness. Butter arrived one day in the garden, as if he had always lived here. It was not planned, but with his endearing temperament, it's impossible to say no to him! He is obsessed with his ball and can spend hours bringing it back to you so that you can throw it for him. Oreo is the latest arrival. It was supposed to be a temporary stay... and then, what had to happen happened: I got attached to him! He also befriended Maya and Butter, so how could I resist? He is full of energy, a real acrobat, and his superpower is to suck up the kibble as fast as a vacuum cleaner, even those of the cat, despite being much higher up! Simba (yes, like the sailor), the only feline in the group (yes, like the sailor), is more discreet. She only pays attention to humans at mealtime. Otherwise, we see her little, except when she suffers - with admirable patience - the sometimes brutal assaults of the three dogs who pay her far too much attention for her liking.
