Situated in the prestigious area of St Leonards just a few minutes walk from the city centre and all its amenities this outstanding period merchants house has been completely renovated to modern building standards. There is a dedicated entrance to a guest suite on the top floor with shared areas including a high specification kitchen and dining area with stunning city views. The space A large comfortable top floor room with a double bed plus a double sofa bed ideal if you are looking for two beds or space for additional people. The bedroom has a private shower room across the corridor. In the room are a TV and a small work desk/dresser. The door has a key. This room was the original children's nursery accommodation and so guests over 6’ (182cm) may find the ceiling height a little low. Guest access There is a shared breakfast/dining room and a sitting area on the first floor landing. During your stay There is a guest entrance at the side of the house with a stairwell running up to the top floor rooms. Often we don't meet short stay guests however we do live in the lower house and we are available if needed and we check on the guest suite periodically. Other things to note Parking is available by prior arrangement at the house for all guests for an additional charge. Street parking is available free of charge between 6pm and 8am weekdays and 5pm and 11am weekends and bank holidays. Please message us in advance of your arrival if you require parking. We make a charge of £8 for 24hrs. This is considerably less than commercial city centre parking. If you have booked for 2 people and wish to use the sofa bed there is an additional one off charge of £8 per stay for an extra set of bedding. This covers cleaning costs. This particular room is part of the origional staff accommodation so visitors should be aware that the roof in the room is slightly lower than other rooms in the property. The bedding we provide is high quality, mostly from John Lewis but in order to keep changeover costs to a minimum we do not iron bedding.
