Badal House Khuri

A stay at Badal House allows visitors to get the most authentic Jaisalmer desert experience. Camels, donkeys and goats wander the streets and there are few cars to disturb the quiet calm of this ancient village. We provide 2 full meals each day for 2 persons within the price of 800 rupees. Everything is home-made, lovingly prepared from local produce and absolutely delicious. NOTE - this listing is for homestay if someone want to camp in desert , can pay 500 inr extra per person and do that. The space As a note, it’s rustic accommodation. The home is safe and secure but has minimal creature comforts. The beds are wood frames with mats on them, the home has electricity and water. Please don’t expect wifi , or televisions. i promise you will feel the typical life of the desert in khuri when you sleep on the sand dunes under the stars with peace . To get to my village KHURI you must either hire a car (1200-1800 rupees) or take the local bus from Jaisalmer (60 rupees) per person. Other things to note at my place and in my village you can walk around the village and see how people use to live with short resources . you can also go for a walk in the desert and there you can see wild fox , antilops also many birds . outside of my village there are many natural water wells , there you can see still many woman's carry water on there head and also you can see many peacocks around the water wells . still many people make potterys and other things by sand which is really nice to watch , i am giving a link down there you can see what kind of potterys they make.
