We are located approx. 9.0 kms from Mapleton, in Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland, at the door step of Mapleton National Park. In heart of Sunshine Coast Hinterland, your retreat and our property is set on on a 30 acres of expansive land. Your secluded, private and fully self contained abode is a charming log wood cottage with luxury queen bed to enjoy stunning views of Obi Obi Valley. A kitchenette is stocked with your essentials, tea, coffee, some milk, oil, salt, pepper, microwave, fridge, electric induction stove and an outdoor BBQ with gas stove. An indoor sitting area to enjoy time with your loved one or a quiet place to contemplate with calming candle lights. There is an ensuite shower and toilet. All linen and toiletries are provided. On the private deck, relax and immerse in the views of the valley and beyond and watch the sunset. Watch the drifting and the dancing clouds from your swing - right in the cottage. You can park your car right next to the cottage. Guest access A gravel road takes you into the tranquillity of the property. Look for a palm frond signposted Kanimbia Cottages (Coolabine) aka "Krishna farm'"and keep driving for further 600 meters to the property where your host will greet you or would have provided directions for your cottage. Your own car parking space near the cottage is available. Distances: Mapleton town centre 12 minutes drive where all the amenities and restaurants are available. Montville, an artist village is about 23 minutes drive where you can enjoy shopping and strolling through the village. Maleny and Kenilworth are about 35 to 40 minutes drive from the farm. Mapleton National Park is just across the road where there are array of short and long walks with amazing views and landscapes. You will be spoilt for choices of waterfalls - Gheerula waterfalls is six minutes drive from the farm. Cancellation/Alteration of date policy We understand that circumstances change. Hence, we have two types of bookings. Whilst we sympathise for emergencies (natural, health or others), your booking type will determine for any refunds or change of date. Your travel insurance may be of assistance where the booking policy does not cover. Flexible booking: At the time of booking if you chose this option, that allows you to cancel your booking 24 hours prior to arrival date. You get a full refund from us; however, Airbnb may still charge their admin fee. With this type of booking, we allow for ONE change of date without any penalty but once booked no change in no. of days is allowed. Non-refundable booking: This policy has discounted rate and is available if you are certain that your plans for travel are firm. This type of booking does not qualify for any refund at any time after the booking is done. With this type of booking, NO date change or no. of days booking is permitted. Experiences at the farm We offer unique activities at the farm - Horse riding, Chakra and energy balancing yoga session, massage in the room or in the bush and sound bath meditation. Additional cost applies. Pre booking is essential and all or some of the activities may not be available during your stay. These are very popular activities and we have limited spaces each day.
