Our 18th century sandstone cottage sleeps 2 in 4 poster bed. Harvest Cottage has a well equipped kitchen and outside private walled garden where can you sit and watch the birds . Once your batteries are recharged you are well located for day trips . The space Harvest Cottage has views over a barley field . Woodpeckers, Gold Finches, Green finches, Nuthatches, Blue Tits, Great Tits, Long tailed Tits, Robins ,etc come to the bird table. There are owls calling and if you are lucky you might see a hedgehog rustling in the leaves. Harvest Cottage is an ideal holiday base for exploring the surrounding dramatic Welsh scenery and the English towns of Chester and Shrewsbury. Llangollen (6 miles) on the River Dee offers steam railway and horse-drawn narrow boats. Erddig Hall, Chirk Castle, golf/riding within 4 miles. Leisure centre, climbing, fishing 1 mile. Shops 1 mile. Other things to note We have two dogs which are our family pets that live with us and you will probably see them when we take them for walks
