The space Complete with washer/dryer, stove, microwave and fridge, this sparkling clean, heated and air-conditioned studio apartment has everything you need for a comfortable weekend away or an easy business trip. A luxurious queen sized bed is so inviting you won’t want to leave. Just as well there’s a great view of a fig tree and the sky from this first floor pad, so at least you don’t lose track of the day! Wi-fi and a large flat screen TV can be enjoyed while lounging around on a beautifully restored 1950’s Danish sofa. The sleek, concrete tiled bathroom has an extravagant rainhead shower and charming vintage lyrebird mirror to complete the mid century tone across the studio. If you want a quick martini before heading out, the marble-tiled kitchen will make you feel like you’re in a Bond flick, whilst the drop-leaf oak table and bridge chairs take you back another 20 years to the 40s heyday. Other things to note Please note: From October 2025, major building work will be taking place on the site directly next door to our Airbnb Studio, to construct a four storey apartment building. Local council rules allow building work between the hours of: 0700-1700 Monday-Friday; 0900-1500 on Saturday; no work on Sunday. There will also be no building work between 20 December 2025 and 12 January 2026. Access to the Airbnb studio will not be affected and the windows are all double glazed, however we can’t predict or control the noise from heavy machinery during approved construction hours.
