Camera Ada - Cozy Room in the Heart of Riomaggiore

CIN: IT011024B45LNHFRD6 Camera Ada is positioned in the center of Riomaggiore, only a few steps away from the main street, in a quiet and charming location. The room is on the 1st floor of a typical “casa a torre” (a type of house characteristic of the Ligurian coast); for this reason it isn’t suitable for people with reduced mobility, and for those who don’t travel light. Please, read the rules of the property before making a reservation. City Tax is NOT included.* ID required. ** The space Camera Ada is a private room with a queen-size bed (that cannot be split in two single beds). Although the room does NOT have a kitchen, it is equipped with a mini fridge, an espresso machine and an electric kettle. The room has its own private bathroom with a shower. The accommodation is provided with a fiber optic WiFi connection, a television, bathroom supplies, towels and a hairdryer. Camera Ada is located in a picturesque alley typical of the area (one of the most photographed in Riomaggiore!); for this reason the Comune won’t allow the installation of air conditioning, which would spoil the visual impact of the alley. Because of this, the room is NOT equipped with air conditioning; but there is an electric fan, as well as a radiator for the heating (turned on when the temperature requires it). The room can only host 2 guests. Pets are not allowed. Guest access Camera Ada is an independent room with its own private bathroom and is situated on the 1st floor of a typical tower building. The condominium staircase is shared with the guests of the other rooms and with the neighbors. In the room there is a mini fridge (please, do not turn it off during your stay and don’t change its temperature), an Italian coffee machine (its capsules are provided accordingly to the length of the stay, and extra coffee capsules can be provided for an extra fee) and a kettle (tea and camomile are also provided). Beach towels are NOT provided. If needed there are many stores in town where it’s possible to purchase them. For hygienic reasons, both mattress and pillows have covers, which guests are not allowed to remove, in order to avoid damages. In case of stains to the mattress or the pillows, a fee may be applied. During your stay The host will provide detailed instructions on how to reach the property either from the train station or from the parking lot of Riomaggiore, depending on the guests’ need. Since they are not always accurate, it is advised against using other sites/apps to get to the room. In order to send detailed instructions, the host needs to know ahead of the arrival if you will be coming by car. If needed, the host can give recommendations regarding the best parking option, but it would be better to ask for them in advance. Check-in: from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Check-out: strictly before 10:00am. Guests are asked to respect these windows of time in order to allow the complete cleaning and sanification of the room. According to the Airbnb rules, it’s forbidden to make reservation for third parties and all communications must be kept on the platform. Each guest is required by law to present a valid identity document (passport, driver license or identity card) both before and during the check-in. Other things to note It’s strictly forbidden to smoke in the whole property (including the room, the bathroom, the windows and the staircase). Please, use the kettle exclusively to boil water. Guests are required to pay the city tax (€3 for each guest for the first 3 nights) in cash during check-in, in order to receive the Cinque Terre Tourist Card and the perks that come with. We ask our guests to remember that hosts don't profit from the city tax, which goes completely to the municipality. If not paid in cash, a fee equal to 20% of the tax will be applied to the payment request. Each guest is required by law to present a valid identity document (passport, driver license or identity card) before the check-in. The host will send you a reminder via Airbnb a few days before your stay and will be able to send you the instructions for your check-in only after having received the documents of each guest. In the case of loss of the keys, the expenses for the replacement of the lock will be charged to the person responsible. In order to avoid this, it’s recommended to always leave the keys in the safe-box.
