Once an old dairy farm, this home has been completely remodeled head to foot and features 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms, front & back patio, HVAC, fully stocked kitchen, and brand new washer/dryer. Other amenities include high speed internet, two TVs and full cable package. *No Walk-throughs. The Long House is a 1,300 square foot cottage that was at one point a greenhouse on a dairy farm. As such, the main living room and kitchen fill up with light throughout the day. The primary bedroom has an en suite bathroom, two closets, a TV with cable, a large dresser, and direct access to the back patio & yard. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for cooking! We also have an electric water boiler, electric coffee percolator, and a microwave. There are two guest rooms, each with their own closet, and lush views of the wetlands. One of the guest rooms also comes with a dedicated workspace. Guests have full access to the property. My wife and I will generally not be available on-site. You feel like you're in the countryside but you're only 5 mins from the town of Armonk, grocery stores, and restaurants. Most homes in this area are located on 2 - 10 acres. Close to hiking trails, nature preserves, lakes and creeks. Armonk is a small but mighty town. It is the world HQ for IBM, has one of the top ranked school districts in Westchester County, features excellent restaurants, grocery stores, shops and any other services you might need. The house is also a short drive to the equally charming towns of Chappaqua, Bedford, Mount Kisco, and Pleasantville. If you are looking for a peaceful place to hang your hat but you work in the city, this house is only a 45 minute drive to Manhattan or a 15 minute drive to North White Plains Metro North Station. The best way to get around is with a car or motorcycle! A wonderful spot for nature lovers!
