This quiet getaway has tranquil forest views and sits on 3 rolling acres. The space Enter via a private gravel road which is great for 1 mile loop morning or evening strolls under the wooded canopy. Miles of hiking trails commence from your yard which backs up to the Manassas Battlefield Park. Their Visitor Center offers a small museum and trail maps to inform your adventure whether you choose to pick up a guided tour of civil war battlefield history or stroll through at your own leisurely pace. The seasonal pool (June - Sept) is a refreshing respite from humid summer days or the conversation seating invites a hot cocoa and blanket retreat site. The central dining room beckons board game tournaments to gourmet feasts to telework efficiencies. Guest access Park on the left side of extended gravel driveway and enter Forest Walk Guest Home using cement sidewalk, then up several stairs to digital code entry front door (personal code provided on your day of arrival). Entire 1,400 sq ft fully private & furnished home also has several downward steps for kitchen to garage keyed door (your private washer/dryer) and a back-garage door to grill/4-seat table/awning/deck and expansive backyard that merges with Forest Walk trail and 5,000 acres Manassas Battlefield trails. From front or back yard pool entry is through 2 latched gates which must be closed at ALL times pool is not in supervised use. Seasonally landscaped pool area has 2-person couch,2 tables, sun umbrella and 4 moveable chairs. Pool water entry is shallow end stairs (no railing), deepest end is 9' with side seating cutouts and entry/exit ladder. The pool's automated timers filter and Polaris sweep pool areas daily (host maintains daily chemical balance; possibiltity of guest assist). Host will explain how to best enjoy pool during 1st day checkin. Other things to note Visit all WashDC has to offer by train, bus, or car and New York City also offers a point-to-point direct route bus (BestBus). There are several local wineries, breweries, and distilleries that offer not just a good drink, but often include live entertainment and a great atmosphere. The Winery at Bull Run (~3 miles), The Winery at La Grange (~9 miles), 2 Silos Brewing Company (~6 miles), Farm Brew Live (~6 miles), Murlarkey Distilled Spirits (~3 miles), and KO Distilling (~7 miles) Jiffy Lube Live (~4.5 miles) is a popular concert venue featuring a wide variety of performances.
