Falco, the house overlooking the valley Falco is a charming independent house overlooking the valley, just above the path that leads up to the estate. It occupies the most prominent position at Podere Oliveta, on a raised floor surrounded by the Sienese countryside between Siena and San Gimignano. The space From the reserved parking area on the property, you reach the entrance by walking through the private garden-terrace, furnished with table, chairs, sun umbrella and barbecue, already enjoying a beautiful view over the landscape. Private garden-terrace for outdoor living The private garden-terrace is one of the highlights of the accommodation: it is furnished with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella, and includes a private barbecue, overlooking the typical Sienese valley. Here you can enjoy breakfast outside, an aperitif at sunset or a real dinner under the stars. Evenings outdoors are made much more comfortable by the timed anti-mosquito system that protects the entire estate and reduces insects during the most critical hours. Cosy interiors and Tuscan atmosphere Inside, you’ll find exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors and warm furnishings that create an authentic atmosphere. The living room with fully equipped kitchen is compact yet functional, perfect for slow breakfasts and dinners after a day out exploring. The double bedroom is quiet and peaceful, while the mezzanine with two single beds is a small “suspended” room that feels like a fairy-tale space for children and works well for teenagers or friends. The bathroom with shower is practical and well laid out. The apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests. Modern comforts and remote work Falco is equipped with air conditioning, mosquito screens on the windows, Wi-Fi and a comfortable workstation for remote working. There is also heating: its use requires an extra contribution, calculated on the basis of meter readings taken together with the owner on arrival and before check-out. Shared garden, pool and small events In addition to their private space, guests can use the large shared garden and the communal swimming pool, perfect for cooling off on hot days or enjoying the cooler summer evenings. At certain times of the year, in the late afternoon, we organise small events by the pool with fresh drinks, aperitifs and tasty bites made with local products to enjoy at sunset. Podere Oliveta is a small oasis of peace: we kindly ask guests to respect quiet hours, especially in the evening and at night. Timed anti-mosquito system The entire Podere Oliveta estate, including the 5 apartments and all shared outdoor areas (pool included), is equipped with a timed anti-mosquito system based on the automatic nebulisation of a specific product for outdoor use. It is designed to significantly reduce mosquitoes and insects during the most critical hours, without being harmful to people when used as intended, and it is a real plus for a countryside property with gardens and a pool.
