This is a great place for families and friends with your own private space. The place consists of 2 bed rooms and a living room and is located on top of the house offering stunning views of city palace and the lake . There are private verenda on two side .We serve all meals . House keeping is done too !! The City Palace and Lake Pichola lie to the east, while Sajjangarh Palace (The Monsoon Palace) is towards the north. Lush green valleys stretch out to the south and west of the house. We built our villa according to ancient guidelines, meaning the building is orientated around a central courtyard. It has wraparound verandas, a spacious roof terrace and a great sense of calm. Furnishings are traditional and comfortable, and the walls are lined with fascinating photographs. As you enter, you will realise that nature and natural living plays a big role in our place. The driveway is lined with shrubs on both sides and the leads you to the base of the home. Stone stairs and a stone walkway would take you up to the big living room and lounge where you can sit around during the day and ruffle through the many books on Udaipur and India that we own. A flight of stairs would take you above the room to your suite. You would enter into your private living room with 2 bedrooms on either side. The rooms have plush 4 poster beds and ensuite bathrooms. The suite opens out to your own private terrace as well and their are many outdoor and indoor sunny and shaded sitting areas to relax in and take in the rural surrounds. A major part of the stay is the delicious, home-cooked food, including many local dishes such as Handi Chicken Biryani and Makai Murgh. Breakfast is included in the cost while lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are all available on request. Spices are adjusted according to taste. Guest access There are many great outdoor nooks and indoor nooks and corners that you have access to and can explore. Apart from the room, you'll have access to: - The terraces - The gardens - The living room - The lounge area During your stay The Indian culture states how guest are considered as Gods "atithi dev bhava". My family has always abided to this saying and so shall I. My husband and I ensure that we have maximum interaction with our guests in order to them feel at home. Apart from this, the staff is always there. Looking forward to hosting you! We also understand that some guests may prefer to have their own privacy and space and we respect that. Other things to note If you are arriving at our place in chauffeur driven vehicles, accommodation for your chauffeurs is easily available in guest houses within 1.5km from our place. Udaipur is famous for its marble artefacts and miniature paintings which are available within a distance of 3km of my place. I personally suggest my guests to shop from antique shops in the old city which are very close to the city palace. A large variety of clothes, miniature paintings, handicrafts and leather goods
