Nightly welcome (6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.) in a charming dorm, in the guest house, typical "Bords de Rance", between the sea and the countryside (classified hamlet), 2 steps from the water. Ideal location (triangle Saint-Malo/Dinard/Dinan) for GR 34C walkers (located 300m from the house), cyclists and passing travelers. Permanent resident of the house: Harold, the young dog. The space This house, accessible only from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m., is a stone, sea, Newfoundland house, with a warm and personalized interior (described as a "collage house", "patchwork house" by a passing artist, bathed in a "Celtic-British-Irish" atmosphere in the opinion of another), unique for its location 2 steps from the water. Charming pied-à-terre for accommodation in the gîte-style. Capacity: 5 people in a picturesque "dormitory" with 5 beds (3 beds of 90, 1 of 110 and 1 of 140) shared with other guests or exclusively (option). Common areas: living room, lounges, garden, 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. " A questioning that resulted in the creation of our ideal living space, with the aim of welcoming our family, but also all people sensitive to our values and having at heart to recharge their batteries in a simple and warm place and through authentic relationships. This 18th century farmhouse/Newfoundland house on the Banks of the Rance has been renovated over the years, partly by us and with the help of local artisans respecting the old building. Thus we are labeled by the "Heritage Foundation". Let's talk about ecology and environmental preservation! We favored the use of bio-sourced materials for the exterior restoration, insulation, and recovery in terms of interior design by sourcing a large part of the decoration, thus creating a personalized and warm setting. For our entire project, our goal is to limit the ecological and environmental impact; we therefore manufacture, as much as possible, our own cleaning products (laundry, etc.) and generally use simple and natural products (white vinegar, baking soda, black soap, etc.). Breakfasts are mostly prepared from organic or local products. We encourage our guests to bring their linens (towels and sheets), to avoid wasting a machine wash for just one night, and to make those around us aware of an eco-responsible approach. A place of life-resources, conducive to rest, calm and sharing! We can't wait to host you and meet you. Please note: this cottage is not suitable for young parents or wedding or party guests who would like to access it during the day, as the house is only open between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. and no longer welcomes guests after 11:00 p.m. Other things to note Room/dormitory with 5 beds, for which you can request exclusivity, optional depending on the number of people; from 4 guests, this option is granted from the start at no extra cost.
