Old stone barn, renovated into a charming loft-style cottage, air-conditioned, very comfortable and functional, for 2 people, with stunning views of the Cathar castle of Peyrepertuse, in a small preserved village of the Corbières, in Rouffiac des Corbières. Comfortable bedding in 160. Mix of stone, wood and contemporary style. Terrace. 4G connection, no Wi-Fi. Swimming area at the foot of the village (5-min walk) in a pretty natural setting, facing the Cathar castle of Peyrepertuse. The space The ground floor (35 m2) is composed of a large, comfortable, loft-style living room with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with a wood-burning stove, as well as a travertine marble bathroom with a bathtub and heated towel rail. Upstairs, a large air-conditioned bedroom (20 m2) with a 160 cm bed and good quality bedding, with a bay window overlooking a stone terrace, facing south (15 m2). The terrace has a very nice view of Peyrepertuse Castle. The "La Grange" cottage is located in a small 10-meter long cul-de-sac that overlooks Rue Le Carairou, accessible only on foot. The neighboring barn is uninhabited. We restored it with the desire to keep its old soul, so we kept a long stretch of stone wall with small niches and added modern comforts. Guest access You have access to the whole gîte.
