Rural stone house with own pool Datca peninsula

As featured in the Saturday Times Travel Section,The Stone House is in a rural setting amongst beautiful forests away from main roads. There are lovely walks right from the door. The house has a beautiful private pool and its own large garden, well furnished with loungers, BBQ etc. Two air conditioned bedrooms (one double, one twin). We do not accept pets. A car is essential to enjoy this property . Datca & Bozburun peninsulas are just a short drive away. Guests must enjoy nature. The space The house is a gorgeous stone building with a huge open plan kitchen/dining/living area and lovely original wooden features. This airy space, coupled with its marble floor keeps it cool in the hot summer. There is a modern bathroom, two air-conditioned bedrooms, and a balcony overlooking the pool and garden. A travel cot and high chair are available. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the whole house, gardens and pool. Other things to note Happy to answer any questions about the house or the area. Here are some FAQS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE STONE HOUSE 1. Can I have a discount? Yes, if you stay for longer than 10 days and you are a couple. 2. How many people can stay in the house? There are two bedrooms- one with double bed and one with two single beds. A family could also have a child under two years. 3 Can I bring my dog or cat? No Do you have a bed for a baby? High Chair? Yes, both. 4. Do you provide towels and bed linen? Yes 5. Do you provide toilet rolls? Yes a few toilet rolls are provided. It is a self-catering accommodation. You will need to buy dishwasher tablets and liquid for washing your clothes. 6. Are there insects and animals in the forest and do they come into the house or go into the pool? Like all forests and outside spaces in Turkey there are mosquitoes, ants and bees and occasionally wasps and hornets. There are many tortoises and rarely some snakes. Our neighbours keep chickens that come into the garden. Insects do not cause a problem but they will come into the house if you leave the windows or doors open. YOU CANNOT LEAVE FOOD OUT OF THE FRIDGE OR FROM THEIR CONTAINERS AS ANTS WILL COME, ESPECIALLY IN THE VERY HOT WEATHER. NO CRUMBS ANYWHERE EITHER AS THIS WILL ATRRACT ANTS. 7. Do I need a car to get to the house? Yes, there is no transport to the house. 8. Are there supermarkets near by? There is a baker in the village and some good small shops, also restaurants. Main supermarkets are in Marmaris. 10. Is the pool cleaned regularly? The beautiful pool is newly tiled and is cleaned regularly by a pool man. 11.Can we be seen by neighbours when we are in the pool? The garden is beautiful and secluded with high trees and shrubs but we do have neighbours on one side so total privacy can not be guaranteed. 12. What time is check in and check out.
