The space is in our family home, which is at a 10-15 minute walk from Thamel in a quiet residential neighborhood. The room receives ample sunlight throughout the day, keeping the room warm, cosy and bright. The size of the apartment is 28 square meter. Our home is a 10-15 minute walk from the heart of Kathmandu, Thamel at a safe and sound neighborhood. Despite being right in the city, you will, without a doubt, be far from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city. Swayambhunath, the Monkey temple is at a 25-30 minutes walking distance from our place. Safe neighborhood, sparkling clean rooms at a friendly and enthusiastic local's home ! A shared broom and dustpan is available in each floor. Housekeeping is provided twice a week. Paid laundry service is available but please keep in mind that Nepal is a country where resources are very precious, and we would appreciate it if small clothing items would be washed by hand. Guest access Rooms on the ground and first floor are not accessible. Feel free to enjoy the view from the balcony on the third floor or go up even higher to the roof. Make yourself at home at our garden and if you would like, join us to pick vegetables at our mini farm! Other things to note We have 3 cats, Baby, Nomi and Yumi, who mostly just keeps to the ground floor and the garden. We also have a dog Jenny. She is a german shepherd and is a very friendly dog. We also have a neighborhood dog visit us everyday.
