East of Newquay in the historic market town of St Columb Major, Agan Dyji (or "Our Little Cottage" in Cornish) is only 5 minutes drive away from the main A30 and just 10 minutes away from the amazing beach and facilities at Watergate Bay (including Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Cornwall restaurant). St Columb Major has good public transport links and Newquay Airport is an inexpensive taxi ride away (less than 4 miles). Come stay! The space Agan Dyji has been created to provide you with a perfect flavour of Cornwall. Even though our cottage is over 100 years old and retains many original features including beams. It has light and airy rooms with a contemporary feel. We are proud of our Cornish heritage and love to show Cornwall off at its very best. Our cottage is easy to find and situated in mid Cornwall with many beautiful and historic Cornish gems on our doorstep. We have a lovely sunny courtyard space with patio furniture and a shed that can accommodate bikes, wetsuits and surfboards. Please note the use of firepits or BBQs is not permitted. Our cosy cottage has been recently renovated and upgraded with many features to help you relax and unwind including a very comfortable memory foam bed, a log burner, HD flat screen TV with DVD, books, games and guide books. Come and sample our Cornish laid back way of life for yourself in a traditional Cornish town and feel like part of the community. *** Please Note: WiFi is now available for guests from 24th January 2020 *** Other things to note Parking is available for loading and unloading outside the cottage and free parking is available just a short walk away from Agan Dyji. We have a no smoking policy. While we welcome dogs we would appreciate that you do not let them sleep on the bed.
