Description
Immerse yourself in Daylesford at Bootmaker's on Albert. One block from the library and community food garden and an easy stroll to shops and cafes, this is Daylesford central. Accommodation is in the old bootmaker's shop. Your space includes: a large living area with exposed brick walls, high ceilings and polished floors; a fully-equipped kitchenette; a separate bedroom with private deck; and an en suite with walk-in shower. The space is all yours; I'm on site, but will leave keys in the safe. The space Albert Street is the main road between Daylesford and Ballarat so expect some traffic noise. This is usually only mid-morning on weekends. Otherwise, your accommodation is very private behind the original double-brick shop front. You'll be part of the local community with normal goings on as people wander by to the library, shops and gardens. It's a very chilled neighbourhood and many friendly locals will be happy to chat. I have a shy cat who may sun himself on your private deck. The space is cool in summer and cosy in winter. Parking is on the verge, outside the your accommodation. Once here, you will be able to wander to pubs, restaurants, cafes and market(s). We are equidistant to the Sunday market and the Mill Market; either option a 10 minute stroll. Guest access Rear deck accessed direct from bedroom. Private front door. Other things to note You are in a great place to access the best of Daylesford. Enjoy our beautiful Australian bush and our cosmopolitan country town, then enjoy your night's sleep in the Bootmaker's shop. Are your boots for walking or scooting, baby? Bring along both because Daylesford has it all.
