Nestled on the 1st floor of a newly renovated FORMER NAVY HOUSE in Kalayaan Village, Eiwa Nest offers STREET PARKING IN specific designated areas. NOTE: The other half of this duplex structure is occupied by another HOMEOWNER, so please refrain from blocking access or parking on their driveway. Inside our charming 1-bedroom unit, you'll step into the KITCHEN area, which flows seamlessly into the dining area where the TV is located. The kitchen is equipped with a ceiling fan to keep you cool. The air-conditioned BEDROOM is separated from the living room by a sliding door, and curtains can be closed for added privacy. For those who love fresh air, a CEILING FAN is available in the bedroom as well. The BATHROOM, though cozy, is thoughtfully designed with a transparent glass partition that separates the shower area from the rest of the space—perfect for two good friends to use simultaneously. The KITCHEN is small but functional. There's an ELECTRIC stove for cooking, and a couple of pots and pans. There is a toaster, rice cooker, and other electric appliances (except a microwave) in the cabinet. There's a kettle and FRENCH PRESS for your morning coffee. The BEDROOM opens to the back patio, where the BATHTUB is located, along with outdoor seating, and a HAMMOCK when the weather is good. The PATIO is fenced in, so your dogs can play off leash while you cook some barbecue! Guest access Umi Nest will be YOUR HOME for the entire duration of your stay. The entire apartment with kitchen, dining, and back patio is your private space. The backyard/garden area (down the hill) is off limits to guests, as is the laundry room, electrical room, and storage areas in the garage. The BEDROOM has a luxuriously soft queen size bed with ample beddings. If you prefer a firmer mattress, the SOFA BED is ideal. The KITCHEN is fully equipped (except a microwave) and includes self-service breakfast that includes champorado, SOURDOUGH bread, peanut butter with cacao, fresh fruit, eggs and our very own blend of premium local COFFEE. The water is potable, and most residents drink from the tap. The bathroom has great water pressure, and all taps run hot and cold water. The TV is located in the dining area, and there is a small desk nearby where guests can work. This Nest is equipped with fiber internet. Because we live in such a woody area, sometimes our internet connection is disconnected by monkeys or falling trees. The back patio has a barbecue grill, hammock, and bathtub for your enjoyment. The front hallway is a shared access hallway for guests and staff. There is a pool in a resort nearby which you can use for a fee, and a convenience store just 1 minute drive from our Umi Nest. The longer you stay, the bigger the discount. Treat yourself to that extra day! DAYTIME GUESTS We charge a daytime guest fee of P500 per guest. Please let us know if you will be entertaining guests in our Nest. DOGS Tedd and Pepper, our energetic labradoodles sometimes live upstairs in our Tuki Nest, which we also rent on AirBNB. CATS When the dogs are not around, there are some stray cats that hang around the property. NOISE The Tuki Nest floors are made of wood, with only a small space separating them from your ceiling, so you will most likely hear the guests or the dogs walking around up there sometimes. Our neighbors may get loud at night. No noise is allowed past 10pm. If that happens, please let us know, so we can alert the village security guards. REBOOKING In line with our firm cancellation policy, we do not allow rebooking less than 2 weeks before your stay. CLEANING AND SHEET CHANGES In our effort to reduce unnecessary use resources, cleaning and sheet changes are conducted every 3 days for longer stays. Should you want your sheets to be changed daily, this can be arranged for an extra cleaning fee. ACTIVITIES Subic has great activities for all types of groups and individuals.
